The United Nations Global Compact
In July 2014, ORIX joined the United Nations Global Compact. We support the ten principles in four fields: human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. We promote initiatives in each of these fields.

In October 2020, ORIX Group expressed its support for Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations, aimed at understanding and disclosing the financial impact of climate change risks and opportunities. In July 2014, ORIX Group joined the Japan Climate Leaders’ Partnership (JCLP), which was founded by a group of private corporations seeking to solve climate change issues and transition to a sustainable, decarbonized society through business means. Through JCLP, we contribute to policy proposals, participate in business tie-ups, and other activities.
