ORIX Insurance Reduces Premium Rates for Whole Life Insurance RISE, an Insurance Policy Offering Lifetime Coverage and Higher Savings Potential
~Achieving coverage and high savings potential at lower premium rates than previous policies~

TOKYO, Japan - September 15, 2023 - ORIX Life Insurance Corporation (“ORIX Life”) announced today that it will revise the premium rates and reduce the premiums for its whole life insurance RISE it currently offers, effective November 2, 2023.

This product is a yen-denominated whole life insurance policy^*1 that helps the accumulation of funds for retirement and other purposes by providing a higher cash surrender value than accumulated premiums paid in many cases after the premium payment period, in addition to lifetime coverage against death and severe disability. With the revised premium rates to reflect the gradual rise in the Japanese yen interest rates, this product now offers coverage at lower premiums and higher savings potential. In addition, a new 5-year premium payment period^*2 has been added to the product to make it more tailored to the diversifying needs of customers.

As society enters the era of 100-year life expectancy, individual efforts toward asset building with a long life in mind are becoming more and more important. While there are various options for asset building, this product can meet the needs of customers who want to build secure assets in yen, in addition to being prepared for unexpected events.
