ORIX Receives Excellence Award at NIKKEI Integrated Report Award 2022

TOKYO, Japan - March 10, 2023 - ORIX Corporation (“ORIX”) today announced that it has received an Excellence Award at the NIKKEI Integrated Report Award 2022 hosted by Nikkei Inc.

The NIKKEI Integrated Report Award have been held by Nikkei Inc. since 1998 with the aim of further enhancing and promoting annual reports published by Japanese companies. Last year, the name of the program was changed from the NIKKEI Annual Report Award to the NIKKEI Integrated Report Award.
The ORIX Integrated Report 2022 presents a story describing ORIX’s roadmap for medium- and long-term value creation, as well as its strategies for achieving its goals. Furthermore, to help readers better understand ORIX, the report includes many specific examples of ORIX’s unique approach to value creation, in addition to the CEO message and interviews with internal and external executives and employees.

Great report with a clear medium-term outlook. The CEO’s message at the beginning of the report was also easy to understand, providing a clear picture of the Company’s path forward.
In a concise and well-structured report, ORIX’s basic concept of “contributing to society through business initiatives” and its roadmap for value creation over the medium to long term are well presented. The report discusses how ORIX has been dynamically transforming its business with the aim of solving social issues up to the present, with a number of examples provided in an easy-to-understand manner, which is highly commendable for clarity and comprehensibility.
The report is easy to understand, as it provides detailed information on management’s view of the business environment, strategic policies for each business, and individual initiatives and their results. Regarding the value creation model, the report presents ORIX’s unique model for adding value in a detailed and clear manner.
