Nagasaki Business Center Receives Nagasaki City Inclusive Workplace Award
~Aiming to be “the office that makes employees smile the most in Nagasaki,” supporting a comfortable working environment~

TOKYO, Japan - December 21, 2021 - ORIX Life Insurance Corporation (“ORIX Life”) announced today that the Nagasaki Business Center has received the 2021 Nagasaki City Inclusive Workplace award.

The Nagasaki City Inclusive Workplace award is given to businesses in Nagasaki City that are creating environments where anyone can work comfortably, such as through the creation of workplaces where everyone can be active regardless of gender, promotion of work-life balance, and systems with consideration for childbirth and childcare.
The Nagasaki Business Center employs approximately 400 people and is responsible for certain head office functions, such as call center and insurance payment operations. It has been recognized for the fact that both men and women are able to fully demonstrate their abilities and play an active role, such as having a percentage of female managers (leaders and above) that exceeds 80% at the call center division. It was also recognized for aspects such as its initiatives to support the work-life balance of employees, such as systems like the Refreshment Leave Promotion System that allows employees to take five consecutive days of special leave each year in addition to their paid leave, and the Self-Improvement System that provides employees with a certain amount of welfare points each year to be used for self-improvement and health promotion.
