Part of the city’s drive to promote urban redevelopment in Sapporo, a distance of approximately 200 m from the north exit of Naebo Station to the first floor of the commercial facility Ario Sapporo is being linked by an all-weather, fully-enclosed aerial walkway. The walkway also directly links to the public passage joining the north and south exits of Naebo Station, allowing convenient access protected from rain or snow. The second floor of Ario Sapporo will also to be linked to the walkway, although the timing of this development has not yet been determined.
