Eleven Vehicles Donated to Ten Social Welfare Facilities in Fiscal 2018

TOKYO, Japan – March 28, 2019 – ORIX Miyauchi Foundation announced today that it has donated a total of eleven vehicles to ten social welfare facilities in Ehime, Okayama, and Hiroshima prefectures.

ORIX established the “ORIX Social Fund” in April 2006 with the goal of continued contribution to society in areas not reached by its business activities such as social welfare, children and youth, environmental protection, music, culture and arts, sports and international cooperation.
To continue these activities, we established the “ORIX Foundation” and it was approved as a public interest incorporated foundation in December 2010. In June 2014, it changed its name to “ORIX Miyauchi Foundation“ ^(*).

The Foundation has made donations of welfare vehicles since 2006. In fiscal 2018, it has donated to ten social welfare facilities in Ehime, Okayama, and Hiroshima prefectures, the affected areas of “The Heavy Rain Event of July 2018”.
ORIX Miyauchi Foundation has donated a total of 110 vehicles to 108 social welfare facilities nationwide, including this fiscal year.

Going forward, ORIX Miyauchi Foundation will continue its support for social activities under the ORIX Group and contribute to the realization of a truly affluent society.
