ORIX Rentec Updates its 3D Printer Experience Center, Tokyo 3D Lab.

TOKYO, Japan – February 13, 2024 – ORIX Rentec Corporation (“ORIX Rentec”) today announced the reopening of its 3D printer experience center, Tokyo 3D Lab. after expansion and updating, in its Tokyo Technology Center (Machida, Tokyo).

Opened in 2015, Tokyo 3D Lab. is a center where one can experience metal modeling production by 3D printer. The update will enable comparison verification of 3D printers for metal modeling by adding to the 3D printer from Germany-based EOS GmbH a metal 3D printer from China-based Xi’an Bright Laser Technologies Co., Ltd. (“BLT”)^*1, which has been permanently installed for use in prototype verification for the first time in Japan^*2. In addition, it will enable customers to acquire modeling expertise by providing support from workers on how to use the modeling simulation website 3D-FABs^*3.

ORIX Rentec provides total support for customers to introduce 3D printers, not only by handling sales and rentals of metal and resin 3D printers from multiple companies as a multi-vendor, but also by offering 3D printer production and introduction support services, as well as a modeling simulation website.

ORIX Rentec will continue to contribute to the popularization of 3D printer technology and customers’ technical innovation in manufacturing by providing various services, including opportunities to use the latest technology, rental services, and contract-based modeling services.
