Approval of the IR Area Development Plan in Yumeshima, Osaka

TOKYO, Japan - April 14, 2023 - ORIX Corporation (“ORIX”) announced today that Osaka IR KK - established by ORIX and MGM Resorts Japan LLC (“MGM”) - has received approval from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for its IR Area Development Plan in Yumeshima, Osaka, which Osaka IR KK submitted jointly with Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City to the Government of Japan on April 27, 2022.

Through this project, ORIX and MGM hope to contribute toward the sustainable growth of Osaka and the Kansai region, and eventually the growth of tourism and the broader economy across Japan. Based on the partnership with MGM, ORIX will work with the public and private sectors to promote processes for realizing the project.
