ORIX Rent-A-Car to Launch “Luxury Car Rent-a-Car Delivery Service” in the Tokyo Metropolitan Region

TOKYO, Japan - August 16, 2021 - ORIX Auto Corporation (“ORIX Auto”) and Tastech Rent-a-Lease Corporation (“Tastech Rent-a-Lease”), an ORIX Rent-A-Car franchise that focuses on import cars and luxury cars, announced today that they will hold a Luxury Car Rent-a-Car Delivery Service campaign from August 20 to November 30, 2021.

As part of this campaign, ORIX Rent-A-Car will deliver sports cars, import cars, and Japanese luxury cars to designated addresses. The campaign will be limited to six ORIX Rent-A-Car rental sites in Tokyo and Saitama Prefecture and cars will be available to rent at discounted rates for its duration.

As part of this campaign, cars will be delivered to homes or to work car parks within a 5 km radius of participating rental sites. Customers will not be required to visit rental sites, so reducing unnecessary movements during the coronavirus pandemic, saving time, and enabling them to enjoy driving luxury cars in a convenient manner.

ORIX Auto operates ORIX Rent-A-Car rental sites nationwide, offering a wide range of both Japanese and overseas cars for rent. In this way, it encourages customers to experience the joy of driving and creates opportunities to drive with convenience.

Tastech Rent-a-Lease launched as a car rental business under the ORIX Rent-A-Car brand in April 1997. Focusing on import and luxury cars, it operates a rental fleet of approximately 1,200 vehicles from 20 different manufacturers in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

ORIX Auto and Tastech Rent-a-Lease will continue to provide attractive offering and services that enable as many customers as possible to experience the joy of driving.
