ORIX Bank Plants 78 Saplings Through 13,072 Customers Opting for Paperless Delivery of Documents Related to Loan Contracts

TOKYO, Japan - August 11, 2021 - ORIX Bank Corporation (“ORIX Bank”) announced today that it has contributed to tree-planting activities in Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. This is the first contribution under ORIX Bank’s program of contributing to tree-planting activities when customers opt for paperless delivery of documents.

ORIX Bank conducts a program where 30 yen is contributed annually to tree-planting activities for each customer who opts for paperless delivery of contract-related documents*. Between January 4 to June 30, 2021, 13,072 customers opted for paperless delivery. Through the Environmental Relations certified N.P.O, the donation of 392,160 yen was used for expenses such as purchase and management of 78 saplings that were planted in the forest of Ashigawa-cho in Fuefuki City. ORIX Bank will continue to undertake activities that contribute toward the realization of a decarbonized society, including reducing paper consumption together with restoring forests through donations.

ORIX Bank will continue to promote initiatives that take the environment into consideration—such as going paperless for various services—and contribute toward the formation of a sustainable society.
