ORIX Bank to Host Online Seminars on ESG Investing in Japan

TOKYO, Japan - March 10, 2021 - ORIX Bank Corporation (“ORIX Bank”) announced today that it will host a series of five online seminars entitled “ESG Investing in Japan.” The seminars will be given by a range of experts, with the first set to take place in March 2021.

Each seminar will be limited to 100 participants, selected on a first-come first-served basis; participation will be free of charge. The seminars will be given by experts with an abundance of knowledge and experience in ESG investing, including members of ESG research institutes and those in charge of investor relations at major IT corporations. They will discuss the importance of ESG investing from the point of view of the fields in which they operate.

From the approximately 6,000 investment trusts sold in Japan*, ORIX Bank carefully selects outstanding no-load trusts that adhere to the principles of ESG investment. These trusts are well-suited to medium- and long-term asset formation and are deemed by ORIX Bank’s independent investigations and analysis to provide superb performance.
