ORIX Car Share opens new station at Osaka International (Itami) Airport

TOKYO, Japan – April 27, 2018 – ORIX Auto Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Katsunobu Kamei) announced that as of today, its car sharing business had opened a new ORIX Car Share station at Osaka International (Itami) Airport.

The new Osaka International (Itami) Airport station is located inside the Osaka International Airport parking lot and is equipped with a total of five cars, four standard class cars and one deluxe class car. The cars are available for corporate and individual customers as a means of travel for business or pleasure from the Osaka International Airport.

To celebrate the new location, ORIX is holding a campaign from April 27 to June 30, 2018, offering individual customers 10% off the rental time fee of a standard class car at the Osaka International (Itami) Airport station.

ORIX Car Share operates a total of 1,654 stations in the Tokyo Metropolitan, Kinki and Chubu areas, and Okinawa Prefecture, with a total of 2,704 cars (as of March 31, 2018). On April 20, ORIX Car Share also opened its first locations in the Tohoku area. In the Kansai area, ORIX Car Share is expanding operations around major train stations, including Kyoto and Shin-Osaka stations, which are also Shinkansen stops. In January 2018, a new location was also opened at the Osaka City Air Terminal (OCAT), one of the largest bus terminals in West Japan and directly connected to JR Namba Station. ORIX Car Share is partnering with various transportation bodies to improve convenience for Car Share members.
