ORIX and VINCI Airports advance strategic cooperation with the signing of an agreement on joint bidding in the selection of business operator for Kansai and Osaka International Airports

TOKYO, Japan - May 1, 2015 - ORIX Corporation (hereinafter, "ORIX"), a leading integrated financial services group, and VINCI Airports today announced that they have reached an agreement to consider joint bidding in the first screening for the selection of private business operator for the "Qualified Project Etc. for Airport Operation of Kansai International Airport and Osaka International Airport" implemented by New Kansai International Airport Company, Ltd. (hereinafter, "NKIAC").

Under this Memorandum of Understanding, ORIX and VINCI Airports, as equal business partners, will cooperate and proceed with the selection procedures. Going forward, ORIX and VINCI Airports will consider submitting formal bid for the operating right of the two Airports following negotiations with NKIAC and due diligences, including detailed asset assessment.

Together, the Kansai and Osaka international airports, combining for a total of 32 million passengers, represent the second busiest airport group in Japan.
