ORIX Rentec and KDPOWER MARKETING to Start Rentals of KDPower Diesel Generators

TOKYO, Japan-July 5, 2011-KDPOWER MARKETING CO., LTD (hereinafter "KDPOWER MARKETING"), the Japanese distributor of the leading South Korean generator manufacturer KDPOWER, and ORIX Rentec Corporation (hereinafter "ORIX Rentec") announced today that they will start collaboration on rental services of KDPOWER diesel generators.

There is heightened demand for generators following the Great East Japan Earthquake due to heightened awareness of disaster countermeasures. In particular, companies with factories, commercial facilities, and office buildings are attempting to secure emergency power supplies in addition to power supply during a voluntary reduction of peak power demand.

KDPOWER MARKETING began selling KDPOWER diesel generators in May 2011 as a general distributor for South Korea's KDPOWER in the Japanese market, handling a broad lineup of generators ranging from 60kW to a maximum of 1500kW. It is expanding its business based on low prices, minimum one-month quick delivery and an excellent after-sales support system. 

Upon offering high demand generators, ORIX Rentec will provide rental service that lowers initial implementation cost, and enable smoothing costs, capitalizing on its nationwide network of corporate clients and the know-how of handling wide range of rental services including electronic measuring, scientific and environment-related analytical, and IT-related equipment. ORIX Rentec is also able to offer flexible setting of the rental period depending on client use.
