Hisayuki Kitayama joined ORIX in 1984 after beginning his career at the Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. in 1975. After a number of positions in the company, including a position at ORIX USA Corporation from May 1995, he was made the Director of ORIX Securities Corporation in June 1999. Within ORIX Securities Corporation, Kitayama was promoted to Corporate Senior Vice President in June 2001 and Corporate Executive Vice President in June 2004 before becoming President in January 2006. Kitayama was promoted to a Group Executive in January 2008. He was assumed the position of Chairman of ORIX Securities Corporation in January 2010.
