Masatoshi Kemmochi joined ORIX in October 1979 after three years at New Holland HFT Japan, Inc. In February 1997 Kemmochi became Nagoya Branch Manager. In January 2002 Kemmochi was appointed an Executive Officer of ORIX Life Insurance and then promoted to a Directorship and Corporate Senior Vice President of the same corporation in July 2005. Kemmochi took over responsibility for Receivables Administration in October 2006 and became Deputy Head of the Risk Management Headquarters in November 2007. After being appointed President of ORIX Credit Corporation in January 2008 (Present post), Kemmochi was appointed a Group Executive in January 2009.
