Hideo Ichida joined ORIX in 1982. He became the General Manager of the Aircraft Group in the Investment Banking Headquarters in October 2004. After being appointed the Deputy Head of the Alternative Investment & Development Headquarters in July 2007, Ichida was promoted to Deputy Head of the Global Business & Alternative Investment Headquarters in January 2009. In January 2010, he was made an Executive Officer and was appointed the General Manager of the International Business Group.
