Hiroaki Nishina joined ORIX in 1968. He became General Manager of the Tokyo Sales Headquarters in January 1990, a director in June 1993 and an Executive Officer in June 1998. . In 1999, Nishina took over responsibility for the Real Estate Business Headquarters before becoming President of ORIX Real Estate Corporation in the same year. He was made a Corporate Senior Vice President in June 2000 until being promoted to the position of Corporate Executive Vice President in April 2002. In February 2005, Nishina was appointed Deputy President. In January 2009, Nishina was appointed head of the newly established Group Corporate Sales Administrative Headquarters, Domestic Sales Administrative Headquarters and Chairman of ORIX Real Estate Corporation. In March 2009, he was appointed Group Osaka Representative and Chairman of ORIX Alpha Corporation. Nishina became president of ORIX Baseball Club Co., Ltd. in October 2009. In January 2010, he added the Investment Banking Headquarters to his duties.
