Kazuo Kojima joined ORIX in 1980. In April 2003, he was appointed the Deputy Head of the Real Estate Finance Headquarters. In February 2005, he was made an Executive Officer, and Head of the Real Estate Finance Headquarters, a position he assumed until December 2006. In January 2006, Kojima was also appointed the Executive Officer responsible for the Special Investments Group, the Finance Department II, and the Securitization and Capital Markets Office. These three departments consolidated to become the Investment Banking Headquarters in January 2008. Kojima was promoted to the position of Corporate Senior Vice President in January 2007, and to the position of Corporate Executive Vice President, Responsible for the Investment Banking Headquarters in January 2008 He has been a director as of June 2008 and was appointed President of ORIX Capital Corporation in March 2009.
