TOKYO, Japan - January 27, 2015 - ORIX Living Corporation, a subsidiary of ORIX Corporation, today announced that it will open Platesia Center-Minami, the third facility of the Platesia series of senior residences, will open in July 2015 in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. With the opening of the new facility, ORIX Living will operate three residences for seniors with a combined total of 265 rooms.

Platesia Center-Minami is located in Kohoku New Town. This location offers good access to central Tokyo and the main part of Yokohama, the convenience of a collection of commercial facilities and public facilities, and natural surroundings rich in greenery. Located approx. two minutes (about 150 meters) on foot from Center-Minami Station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway, it is convenient for visiting family members or for residents when they go out. The facility provides a functional space designed to meet the needs of seniors without requiring them to change their lifestyles. In this way, it supports them in enjoying a comfortable and secure lifestyle.

Concierges stationed in the facility will understand the lifestyle of each and every resident and attend to their individual requirements. In addition to secretarial services such as assisting visitors, providing various types of information, and arranging reservations for internal and external facilities and services, the concierges can also carry out intermediary services such as receiving or sending deliveries or arranging dry cleaning. Comprehensive daily lifestyle support includes introductions to services such as home-visit nursing care and medical checkups, as well as house cleaning.

The rooms have a sophisticated design and are spacious, ranging from 40 m2 to 85 m2, forming an "elegant" living space where residents can rest and relax. Emergency call buttons and living cycle sensors that automatically detect changes in residents' regular lifestyle patterns are among the standard features, and the rooms are fully equipped with functions to provide safe support for living. Furthermore, the facility is equipped with many life fulfilling features including a beauty salon, a relaxation corner, and a large common bathroom.

In the case where residents come to require nursing care, they have the option of moving into GOOD TIME LIVING Center-Minami, which is situated on the lower floors of the same building, this way, the facility enables residents to continue their lives smoothly with peace of mind.

Looking ahead, ORIX Living will continue to offer support to residents and their families, and to create a new lifestyle for the elderly to meet their genuine needs that have not been met by the current services in the market.
