TOKYO, Japan - March 21, 2012 - ORIX Golf Management LLC (hereinafter, "OGM"), the ORIX Group's specialist in golf course management, today announced the scheduled grand opening of OGM Golf Academy Akasaka (Minato-ku, Tokyo; OGMGA Akasaka), a members-only indoor golf school, on March 30, 2012.

OGM operates 39 golf courses and two practice ranges across Japan. Once opened, OGMGA Akasaka will become the company's first members-only indoor golf school. The new school is located in the Akasaka district of Tokyo's Minato Ward, an area known as a hub for political and economic activity, and as a cultural pacesetter. The school is extremely accessible, situated a short one-minute walk from the Tameike-sanno subway station. Thanks to its prime location, the facility can be utilized by virtually anyone, making it possible for people of all walks of life to enjoy their golfing experience.

The catchphrase for OGMGA Akasaka is "An Ingenious and Interconnected Hub in Golfing Begins Here." Under this slogan, the school aims to become a new site for social interaction and source for a wide variety of information centered on golf. In addition to the planning and hosting of bus tours and other golf events, OGMGA Akasaka will offer members opportunities to sample the latest trends in not only golf fashions but in cosmetics as well. In these and other ways, OGMGA Akasaka aims to propose new ways of enjoying golf, customized to match the lifestyle of each of its members.

Revolutionary Indoor Golf Stadium

1) Cutting-edge simulators
All driving areas are equipped with cutting-edge simulators. This allows lessons and practice sessions in which members can view video of their own swing and compare it against that of pro golfers, as well as check head speed, trajectory, and ball speed. What's more, members can practice their putt using real tournament balls on a virtual green (artificial turf), complete with the simulated tilt of greens from actual courses, for the most realistic golfing experience possible.

2) Facility usage and fee system
In addition to four monthly lessons, members are free to practice whenever they like ^(*1).

3) Equipment-free lessons and practice
OGMGA Akasaka members need bring no equipment, since the facility will have the latest golf clubs, shoes and gloves for members to use free of charge. Game menus catering to all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, are also available. Members may also entrust their own clubs to the facility for safekeeping^(*2).

4) Virtual rounds
In virtual mode, the simulator fully recreates golf courses managed by OGM^(*3). By making it possible to do virtual practice rounds on actual golf courses, OGM offers an experience that only a school directly managed by a golf-course management specialist can deliver.

5) Full support for rounds on the course
Periodic lessons on actual golf courses with transportation to and from OGMGA Akasaka and golf course perks for members are also available. Along with a variety of upcoming events, plans call for strengthening collaboration with OGM golf courses going forward.

Fully-equipped facility to support the golfing lifestyle

1) Multipurpose studio
For those who have always wanted to try golf, but don't want to limit themselves to weekly golf lessons, the school offers a multipurpose studio where members can switch their lessons for yoga and other classes. If they choose, members can take part in pelvic adjustment yoga, Pilates, and power yoga lessons offered, and gain the flexibility and muscle needed for golf, while learning breathing techniques that will improve their concentration.

2) VIP room
OGMGA Akasaka has a private VIP room that up to six people can use. Members can use this VIP room, which comes equipped with a 185-inch screen, as a place to talk business or chat with friends while practicing their golf technique.

3) Powder rooms, locker rooms
The locker rooms at the facility have brightly-lit powder rooms complete with an array of trendy cosmetics. This amenity makes it easier for female members to stop by after work to practice their swing.
