ORIX to Present at China-Japan Green Expo 2011
-Expansion of the Environment and Energy Business in China-

TOKYO, Japan – May 27, 2011 – ORIX Corporation (TSE: 8591; NYSE: IX), a leading integrated financial services group, announced today that it will be presenting for three days at the China-Japan Green Expo 2011 starting on June 1st in Beijing, China.

China-Japan Green Expo 2011 is an international environmental exhibition co-hosted by the public and private sectors of China and Japan. Approximately 80 Japanese and Chinese companies, municipalities, research institutions and NGOs (of which 60 companies are from Japan) are scheduled to present at this inaugural exhibition with the theme "Energy-saving, Emission reduction, Energy-efficient". The ORIX Group will be presenting its business expansion in China and the expansion of eco services in Japan and overseas.

ORIX has been expanding its environment and energy businesses since the mid 1990s. Currently, ORIX provides various products and services such as energy businesses including the ESCO business and the solar power system sales business, one-stop solutions for reuse, recycling and proper waste disposal of unnecessary items, water-related business, and eco services for automobiles and real estate. As an Eco Services Integrator, ORIX comprehensively provides a variety of functions to meet customer needs for e
nvironment-related products and technologies.

ORIX established the first leasing company in China in 1981. After establishing the first rental company for precision measuring and other equipment in 2004, ORIX has been providing financial services capitalizing on the experience and know-how accumulated in Japan and overseas. In December 2009 ORIX established its Chinese headquarters ORIX (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in Dalian. ORIX entered into a strategic alliance with the Chinese Academy of Science in April 2010, and is considering the commercialization of joint projects in the areas of the environment and energy.

Through this exhibition, ORIX will deepen its interaction with global companies in attendance for future environment and energy business expansion.
